ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn. --- Senior guard Stevey De La Ossa had a stellar night for the Storm on Wednesday as Crown Women's Basketball took on their conference rival Martin Luther Knights. De La Ossa was the high-point woman as she scored 20 points on 8/14 shooting and dished out three assists. This was her first time reaching 20 points in a single game in her collegiate career as she continues her fantastic final season with the Storm.
Off the bench for Crown, senior Damonyka Roberts had her first double-double of the season with 14 points and 14 rebounds, her second career double-double and her career-best single-game rebound total. Senior Patricia Gibson did absolutely everything but score for the Storm, with ten rebounds, five steals, two blocks, and three assists.
Sophomore Katie Archer scored a career-high nine points and grabbed six rebounds in the game. First-year Amy Martius scored eight points in the contest and sophomore Shauna Thompson added four points to complete the Storm's scoring.
Crown hopes to get back on the right track on Saturday when the Storm take on Maranatha Baptist at home.
