Women's Basketball Concludes Season vs. Saints

DULUTH, Minn. --- Crown Women's Basketball concluded their 2018-19 season as they fell to the St. Scholastica Saints 61-46. Junior Patricia Gibson was the high-point woman for the Storm with her second consecutive double-double, scoring 14 points and grabbing ten boards. Gibson also added a team-high two blocks in the contest. 

Junior Rose Crowns was a single point and rebound away from her first career double-double, with nine in each category. First-year guard Shauna Thompson had nine points in the game on 50% shooting from the field and three-point range. Junior guard Stevey De La Ossa led the team with three assists in the contest and added seven points. 

Notes: The Storm led the Saints in second-chance points with 14 vs. St. Scholastica's six. Crown outscored the Saints in the paint 32-28 and outscored the Saints overall in both quarters in the second half. 

With the season concluding, the program looks to build on this season with all players for Crown having remaining eligibility to come back and continue playing for the Storm.
