ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn. --- On Friday night at the Wild Athletic Center, Crown College Women's Basketball opened their 2019-20 season against the Edgewood College Eagles. Unfortunately for the Storm, the Eagles bested Crown 71-52. First-year guard
Dominique Urbina was the high-point woman in the contest, scoring 13 points in her collegiate debut for the Storm. Urbina added two rebounds and three steals.
The Storm had three players tied with eight rebounds apiece, with seniors
Damonyka Roberts, Patricia Gibosn, and
Rose Crowns all pulling down eight boards. Roberts added nine points in the game. Gibson and senior guard
Stevey De La Ossa led Crown with three assists each, and De La Ossa added eight points. Additionally, sophomore guard
Shauna Thompson scored six points for the Storm.

The Storm are back in action on Saturday as the Storm host Hamline University. The last time Hamline visited Crown, the Storm won 69-65.
