MORRIS, Minn. --- Crown women's soccer team traveled to Morris on Wednesday for a matchup with the UM-Morris Cougars. The game was tied for almost the entirety of the first half, but a penalty kick goal in the 44th minute led the Cougars into a 1-0 halftime lead. Crown allowed three second-half goals to fall 0-4 to the Cougars.

Michaela Cowman registered 18 saves in the game, with 11 of those saves coming in the first half.
The Crown women fall to 3-4 on the season, and 1-3 in UMAC contests. Crown returns home for a Saturday game with the Northland Lumberjills making the trip to St. Bonifacius from Ashland.
