ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn. --- After a long lightning delay of over two hours, the Crown's women's team took the field to face the North Central Rams in a non-conference matchup between the UMAC rivals.
North Central scored first on a Payton Swoboda kick in the 19th minute. Crown answered back with
Belle Flucas' first goal of her collegiate career on an assist from
Anna Kragt. Unfortunately, the Rams scored a go-ahead goal in the 61st minute to go ahead 2-1, a lead they would keep to the final.
Sophomore goalie
Michaela Cowman had eleven saves and two goals allowed in the contest.
Crown's record is now 2-3 as they continue UMAC play against Bethany Lutheran at 11 am on Homecoming Saturday in KleinBank Stadium!
