Ellendale, N.D. --- Crown Men's Basketball won their second straight game on Saturday afternoon as they bested Trinity Bible College 121-85. Sophomore
Christian Moore was the high-point man, with 21 points in the contest and a single rebound away from a double-double.
Josh Volness and
Keegan Oyugi led the Storm with four assists each.
Crown had five players score 14 points or more, with Volness (15),
Mychael Kimbrough (15),
Timothy Wendel (15), and
Torry Ledin (14) joining Moore. Kimbrough scored on incredible efficiency as he went 5/6 from the field and a perfect 4/4 from downtown. Crown shot an impressive 51.2% from the field, and an even more impressive 51.7% from behind the arc while holding the Lions to 36.9% from the field and 25% from range.
In an anticipated start of UMAC action, Crown returns home for a matchup on Wednesday with UM-Morris; the Cougars met the Storm in the first round of the UMAC Playoffs last year, where UM-Morris defeated Crown at the Wild Athletic Center.
