ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn. --- Crown's men's basketball team fell 71-76 Saturday afternoon. Junior forward Timothy Wendel led the Storm with 24 points on 50% shooting from the field. Crown struggled from behind the arc, shooting 22% from downtown. Crown lost a late Saint Mary's three that they couldn't match on the other end.
Senior guard
Keegan Oyugi had 13 points in his second straight game in double figures. Fellow senior guard
Dartrell Moss scored nine points in the matchup to be Crown's third-leading scorer. Another senior guard,
D'Andre Caster led the Storm with seven rebounds. Wendel led the Storm on the defensive end with two blocks and two steals. Oyugi also had two steals. Junior
Gunnar Ledin led the team with three assists.
Crown continues their season on the 13th in an exhibition at St. Cloud State.
