ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn. --- Crown's men's soccer team fell 1-2 to the UM-Morris Cougars on Tuesday after a late goal spoiled the Storm's chances.
Crown scored first on a penalty kick as senior
Storm Heyer found the back of the net, his second penalty kick goal in as many games and his fifth goal of the season. Unfortunately, an error by the Crown defense tied the game up at one, and a goal with seven minutes before full time put the Cougars ahead.
There were several cards in the game, with Morris receiving six yellow cards.
Cole Hempfling had Crown's lone yellow.
Goalkeeper
Eli Etzel allowed two goals and had seven saves in the contest. Crown has another home game this week with the Finlandia Lions coming to town for a non-conference matchup on Thursday at KleinBank Stadium.
