ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn. --- Crown's women's soccer team fell 0-3 to the Martin Luther Knights on Wednesday evening in a cold rainy game. The Knights only held a 1-0 lead at halftime, but two second-half scores gave MLC some breathing room as they won the match. First-year
Hailey Carter scored a goal late to make the score 1-3, but it was too late for a full comeback.
Both juniors
Anna Kragt and
Belle Flucas had assists on the Carter goal. Crown was led by sophomore
Lottie Ellis with seven shots in the matchup. Sophomore keeper
Michaela Cowman had five saves in the game.
The Storm soccer team now heads to North Central for an afternoon game with the Rams on Saturday.
