Minneapolis, Minn. — The Crown men's soccer team faced the North Central Rams in Minneapolis on Wednesday. The Storm took the lead on a goal by senior Josiah Steinkamp in the 23rd minute, but after the Rams scored an equalizer in the 75th minute, the scoring for both teams ended for the day. After two overtimes concluded, the game was ruled a tie at one. 

Offensively, Steinkamp led the way for the Storm with three shots, all on goal, and the lone score. Cristian Olarte, Mason Shrewsbury, and Austin Higginbotham all also had a shot on goal in the game. Despite being outshot in total 7-12, Crown had as many shots on goal as the Rams, both teams with six. 

In goal, Eli Etzel only allowed one goal and had four saves in 120 minutes of action. 

The Crown men continue to seek their first conference win as they head up to northern Wisconsin to face the Northland Lumberjacks on Saturday.
