Milwaukee, Wis. — Crown women's soccer fell to Mount Mary Saturday afternoon after Mount Mary came back down from 1-2 in the 75th minute to beat the Storm 3-2.
After Mount Mary struck first in the 48th minute, Crown responded back with a goal of their own in the 51st minute. First-year
Lottie Ellis had her first assist of the season, supplying the pass for an
Anna Kragt goal (her first of the season). Kragt's goal tied the game at one apiece. Junior
Katelyn Carter added a goal of her own in the 72nd minute to take the lead. Carter, Ellis, and Kragt all had three shots, with
Samantha Collins also having two shots (one on goal).
In
Michaela Cowman's second collegiate game, she compiled 12 saves, allowing three goals.
Crown goes to Wisconsin-Stevens Point on Tuesday for a match against the WIAC school.
