Duluth, Minn. — Senior setter
Kelsey Roschen split her assist totals perfectly in this weekend's volleyball games, with 25 assists in each game for an even 50 on the day. She also added two blocks, four kills, and two aces in the matchup with Martin Luther. Unfortunately, despite her performances in both games, the Crown volleyball team fell to St. Scholastica and Martin Luther 0-3 each. Crown fought tooth and nail with Martin Luther with 22 points or more in each set, but still, couldn't find a set win.
Against Martin Luther,
Christine Anderson led the team with nine kills, three aces, and four blocks.
Michaela Svoboda led the team with 16 digs. In game two, Anderson again had nine kills, tied with
Alayna Kohler for most on the team. Kohler also added a team-high 14 digs (tied with Svoboda).
The Crown volleyball team travels tomorrow to face Northwestern and North Central in a Northwestern triangle meet, their last games before coming home this weekend.
