St. Bonifacius, Minn. — Crown's all-time leading scorer
James Brown played in his final game tonight and had 20 points one last time as a member of the Storm. As coach
Luke Herbert called a timeout to have him exit the court, the crowd gave Brown a standing ovation, representative of how the Crown community has valued him through the last four years.
Coach Herbert started a lineup of all seniors for the second straight game as Brown started alongside
Garrett Bigej,
Tom Messner,
Breier Sanders, and
Jordan Whitcomb.
Unfortunately, Crown couldn't end the season with a sweep of St. Scholastica, with the Saints pulling away in the final minutes. St. Scholastica won 85-73.
Junior
Austin VanDerHeyden and freshman
Timothy Wendel each had double-doubles, with VanDerHeyden having a 22/10/3/2 and Wendel with 12/10/2.
