Minneapolis, Minn. — The Crown men played in a thrilling game on Friday, and despite senior
James Brown's shot to tie up the game with two seconds left in regulation, they couldn't pull away in overtime, falling to North Central 91-95.
Freshman
Timothy Wendel led the team in both points and rebounds, tying his career high in points with 30 and setting his new high in rebounds with 17. Wendel had an impressive seven offensive rebounds and shot and was 10/18 from the field with four made threes.
Senior
Jordan Whitcomb had an efficient night off the bench, with 14 points in limited playing time. Brown was also in double figures with 14 points including the game-tying bucket with two minutes remaining and a three in overtime. Freshman
Joey Chapman scored his career high in points with nine on three made threes.
Crown next plays on Saturday at Northwestern.
