Roseville, Minn. — The women's soccer team traveled to Roseville to take on the Northwestern Eagles on Wednesday evening. The Eagles entered the game a win away from clinching the UMAC Championship top seed and did clinch by beating the Storm 9-0.
The Storm once again struggled offensively, being outshot by the Eagles 2-53. The two Crown shots, both on goal, came from sophomore
Anna Kragt and junior
Katelyn Carter.
In goal, first-year
Michaela Cowman saved an astounding 21 shots on goal, and with one game left in the season will likely finish top three in the NCAA in total saves (with an outside shot at becoming the NCAA leader on Saturday). She is first in the UMAC in saves and has already shattered Crown's season save record.
Crown will attempt to find their first win against Mount Mary on Homecoming Saturday. Crown lost to Mount Mary 2-3 in Milwaukee early in the season, and hope to avenge that loss on their home turf.
