St. Bonifacius, Minn. — Crown's volleyball team went into the Twin Cities on Monday evening for a match with the MIAC's Macalester. Crown nearly took the first set, but unfortunately fell to Macalester in three games; 22-25, 18-25, 19-25.
Christine Anderson led Crown's offensive production, having ten kills and only three errors for a .389 hitting percentage in the three matches. This game is Anderson's third game of the season amounting double-digit kills, as she has consistently led the Crown offensive attack. Senior
Kelsey Roschen once again led Crown in effective sets with 17 assists in the three matches, and also had a team-high three aces. Senior
Alayna Kohler led the team defensively in both blocks (2) and digs (17).
Michaela Svoboda and Roschen also were in the double digits in digs with 14 and 11 respectively.
Crown has one more game left in the season, an away game against UMAC St. Scholastica on Saturday.
