St. Bonifacius, Minn. — Crown women's soccer team had their second to last home game of the season on Friday night under the KleinBank Stadium lights. They were faced with the tough opponent of the St. Scholastica Saints and fell to the UMAC-opponent 0-7.
Crown struggled particularly early, with the Saints taking a 5-0 first-half lead. The Storm were outshot 4-43 in the matchup, with
Katelyn Carter,
Leah Bartlett, and
Cassidy Hane taking Crown's three shots on goal. First-year goalkeeper
Michaela Cowman added 15 saves to her season, though allowed the seven goals.
Next up on the Crown schedule, the Storm face off with the only UMAC-school to beat the Saints, Northwestern next week.
