St. Bonifacius, Minn. — Crown's women's soccer team was unable to find a win once again with a loss to the Bethany Lutheran Vikings on Tuesday evening. The one notable highlight from the Storm was keeper
Michaela Cowman breaking the Crown single-season saves record of 230; she now has 247 saves in the season. Crown failed to score a goal for the eighth time this season as they were outshot 3-38.
Crown's lone shot on goal came from
Cassidy Hane, who had her first career goal earlier this season. Defensively, Crown's first-year goalkeeper put on a show with Cowman gathering 20 saves, a .870 save percentage, and further cementing her in the NCAA season ranks. Before tonight's game, Cowman was third in the NCAA in total saves.
Crown has a tough matchup next, with powerhouse St. Scholastica in town for a match on Friday.
