St. Bonifacius, Minn. — The Crown volleyball team held close for the first set against the Bethany Lutheran Vikings on Tuesday evening in a game where both teams wore pink to help raise money towards breast cancer awareness. The first set featured an eight-point lead by the Storm, but unfortunately, it slipped away as they lost the first set 24-26. The next two sets the Vikings easily found success, defeating the Storm 14-25 and 7-25.

Kaitlin Ruiter,
Sarah Reinke, and
Karissa Steinkamp had positive attack percentages in the game as the Storm struggled to keep from mistakes offensively.
Alayna Kohler and Ruiter led the team with five kills each.
Kelsey Roschen led with sixteen assists, and libero
Michaela Svoboda led the team with nine digs. Defensively, both
Kelsey Roschen and
Christine Anderson had three blocks apiece.
Crown does not get much rest as they have another home game, with the MIAC's Augsburg College in St. Boni on Wednesday.
