New Ulm, Minn. — Crown College's women's soccer team went to New Ulm on Tuesday afternoon to take on the Martin Luther Knights, hoping not to repeat their home 0-6 loss earlier in the year. The result improved, albeit slightly, as Crown fell to the Knights 0-5 at the Martin Luther field.
Goalkeeper
Michaela Cowman had 13 saves in the game, crossing the 200 mark early in the first-year's career. She has double-digit saves in all of her first thirteen games as a collegiate athlete. With five games left in the season, Cowman is third in the NCAA in total saves and is on pace to set the Crown mark for most saves in a season (230).
On offense, first-year
Lottie Ellis led the team with three shots and had the only Storm shot on goal.
Crown's next game is at home against the North Central Rams, Saturday at 3:15 pm.
