New Ulm, Minn. — The Crown men held onto a victory against Martin Luther on Saturday night, defeating the Knights 79-77.
Junior
Austin VanDerHeyden led the team in scoring with 22 points and also added 11 rebounds, his third double-double of the season. However, he once again struggled with foul trouble, fouling out in his second straight game.
Senior
James Brown added 18 points with four made three-pointers, and also added seven rebounds. Senior guard
Garrett Bigej added 12 points off the bench, also making multiple threes in the game. Freshman
Kole Jusczak added eight points, as he started for the injured
Timothy Wendel.
The Crown men next play on Thursday, making up the previously-cancelled game against Maranatha Baptist.
