St. Bonifacius, Minn. — The Crown men got a huge win against Northland College, who have been a top team in the UMAC, going 6-3 (now 6-4) in the conference. Despite falling behind early, Crown came back unphased, outscoring the Lumberjacks 43-37 in the second half on their way to a 74-70 win.
Junior
Austin VanDerHeyden led the way for scoring for the Storm, with 21 points, three rebounds, two assists and two blocks in the game. He shot an impressive 9/12 in the game including several baskets in the last six minutes of gameplay. Freshman

Jordan Whitcomb battled foul trouble all game, and each ended the game with four fouls. Whitcomb also added four points in the contest.
Seniors
James Brown and
Breier Sanders both reached double figures in the scoring column. Sanders had his highest point total of the season, and also added a rebound block and a steal in his extended play off the bench.
Junior
Terrell Thomas and sophomore
Josh Volness both ended up with 11 combined rebounds; both guards had their season-high in the category.
This win helps position Crown for the playoffs and next play at Mankato next Friday against Bethany Lutheran.
