St. Paul, Minn. – After a strong opening weekend for the Crown men's soccer team, the Pipers of Hamline University pegged the team back with 7-0 performance on Wednesday.
The visitors struck early and often, scoring five first half goals before adding a penalty kick goal and a late exclamation point in the shutout victory.
Crown struggled to get much going on the day, with their best chance coming when
Ger Jones corner hit the crossbar and a follow up volley from
Cristian Olarte was blocked.
The Storm will waste no time getting back on the pitch, as they travel to Bethel on Friday before hosting Central College on Saturday.
