Milwaukee, Wis. – The Storm women's soccer team opened their season with a pair of games this past weekend, earning a 2-2 draw against Blackburn and falling 4-1 against Alverno.
After leading 1-0 early on an
Anna Kragt goal, Crown conceded the equalizer and then gave up the lead after a questionable penalty call. Kragt struck again with less than five minutes remaining to draw Crown level once again and the game was called due to darkness in overtime.
On Saturday, Alverno's Annie Davison bagged four goals while Kragt scored her third of the weekend for Crown.
The Storm return to action next Friday when they travel to Gustavus.
