St. Bonifacius, Minn. – The Crown women's soccer team suffered a pair of tough defeats over the weekend, losing to Gustavus and Central by scores of 8-0 and 9-0 respectively.

Marissa Becerra made 18 saves against Gustavus and had 15 first half saves against Central before going off injured.

Emily Kirby stepped into goal to make 16 saves in the second half, but it wasn't enough to slow down the high-powered Central offense.

Crown hosts UW-Steven's Point in their next contest on the 14^th.
