Minneapolis, Minn. – Crown Volleyball may have lost two over the weekend, but they did secure their first win of the season. After losing 1-3 to North Central on Friday, Crown won 3-2 to Northland College before falling 1-3 to Bethany Lutheran on Saturday. 

Juniors Katie Hinkle (Dows, Iowa/Clarion-Goldfield) and Kelsey Roschen (Anoka/Anoka) performed well throughout the weekend. Hinkle had a combined 24 kills and 8 aces through the three games, and Roschen led the team with 95 assists. 

In their first win of the season, Crown came back from being down 0-2 against Northland and won three consecutive sets to take the 3-2 victory. 

Volleyball continues their season at home against the University of Wisconsin-Superior on Tuesday, 7 pm.
