St. Paul, Minn. – The Crown volleyball team continued non-conference play with four games in two days at the St. Kate's tournament. Crown was swept at the event, losing to Hamline, Luther, St. Mary's, and St. Kate's.
Day one of the tournament saw
Kaylea Kidder, Katilin Ruiter, and
Katie Hinkle all record five kills to share the team lead against Luther, while
Taylor Urcuyo's 16 digs paced the team against Hamline.
Day two saw
Kelsey Roschen notch 16 assists against St. Mary's and 15 assists against St. Kate's, while Hinkle had five kills in the first game and seven in the second to lead the team.
Crown will travel to Minneapolis to face off against UMAC foe North Central in a non-conference matchup on September 16
th.
