St. Bonifacius, Minn. — Crown fell to Augsburg yesterday in their home opener 52-75. 

Crown was led by the 12 points by sophomore guard Hannah Malone. Junior guard Andrea Besa was second on the team in scoring with nine points, two rebounds, two assists, and four steals. 

Though slow to start off the game, Crown did win the second quarter, outscoring Augsburg 19-16. Crown also had a strong bench performance, with 23 points coming off the bench. 

Crown next plays Valley City State away at 5:30 pm on the 25th of November.
