St. Bonifacius, Minn. – The injury-plagued women's soccer team fell to Bethany Lutheran 0-5 on Wednesday evening.

Junior forward Nicole Moldstad (North Mankato/Minnesota Valley Lutheran) and freshman forward Rachel Bitter (Bemidji/Bemidji) led the charge for Bethany Lutheran. Moldstad scored twice on six shots, and Bitter scored three times on nine shots.    

Sophomore Katelyn Carter (Mesa, Ariz./Mountain View) had Crown's only shot attempt of the game. Senior Emily Kirby went from the field to the goal and had 14 saves in her first start of the season as the goalkeeper (Andover/Legacy Christian). 

Crown's next game is in Duluth against St. Scholastica on Saturday, 3:15 pm.
