Duluth, Minn. – The ailing Crown women may not have won the whole game against St. Scholastica, but they did win the second half, which is still an accomplishment considering St. Scholastica beat them 11-0 at home last year. They fell to St. Scholastica this year 1-3 in Duluth.
After falling behind 3-0 in the first half, the Crown women responded by shutting St. Scholastica out in the second half and scored a goal on a sophomore

Emily Kirby (Andover/Legacy Christian), who was filling in for her second start in goal, also had a phenomenal game, with 26 saves only allowing the three goals, an impressive .897 save percentage.
The Crown women next play on Tuesday at North Central.
