Superior, Wisc. – The Crown women's soccer team struggled up north, losing to the University of Wisconsin-Superior 0-5. 

Superior's defense excelled in this game, not allowing a single Crown shot attempt all game. Freshman Sarah Fjeran (Duluth, Minn./Marshall) led the Superior offense, scoring every time she shot the ball for two goals. Sophomore Liza Shelquist (Pine Island/Pine Island) also showed up in a big way, with a goal on four shots, along with two assists. 

The Crown women hope to get back on track against Bethany Lutheran on Wednesday, 5 pm.
