Superior, Wisc. – Men's soccer fell to the University of Wisconsin-Superior on Thursday, getting shut out 0-4.
Superior scored in the fifth minute on sophomore
Daniel Kearns' (Greenock, Scotland/Ayrshire College) chip shot over Crown's goalie, junior
Eli Etzel (Buffalo/Buffalo). The score remained 0-1 until Superior added a second goal on freshman
Eric Watson's (Thunder Bay, Ont./Hammarskjold) long range shot attempt.
The second half saw more of the same, with two goals by Superior. The first by sophomore
Mualigbe Keita (Brooklyn Park, Minn./Prarie Seeds Academy),
and the second by junior
Jon Bucklew (Somerset/Somerset), putting Superior up 4-0.
The Superior defense stifled the Storm, only allowing three shots all game (two on goal.)
