St. Bonifacius, Minn. – Crown's men's soccer team fell to the University of Northwestern (MN) 0-3 on Wednesday afternoon. Despite the three-goal deficit, Crown shot with Northwestern only getting outshot nine to seven shots on goal.

Chris Cloepe had a great performance from Northwestern, with six shots on goal and two of the three goals, the second of which came on a penalty kick resulting from a Crown handball in the box. 

Juniors Christian Olarte (Bogota, Colombia / Chisago Lakes Baptist) and Ger Jones (Bethel, Wales/Brynrefail School) both led Crown with two shots on goal each. Crown spread the ball around with five different people taking shots on goal. 

Crown's men's team plays three home games this week, with games on Thursday and Friday to accompany Wednesday's game.
