St. Bonifacius, Minn. - After getting another win last night versus North Central, Crown was looking to avenge an earlier season loss to the Northwestern Eagles on Saturday night. Back on December 11th, Crown lost to Northwestern by a score of 76-51. This game would unfortunately look too similar as the Eagles opened up a 24-9 lead in the first quarter and won by a final score of 72-43.
Crown was held to a chilly 31.1% shooting on the night having nine more turnovers (23) than made field goals (14). The Eagles were able to convert those 23 turnovers into 25 points. Northwestern shot 47.6% by contrast including 50% from three.
Crown was led by
Miranda Brueggeman off the bench with nine points while
Hannah Malone also had nine points.
Desiree Davis had eight rebounds.
