St. Bonifacius, Minn. - Crown welcomed the College of Saint Scholastica Saints to the Wild Athletic Center on Saturday afternoon for their first game after Christmas break. Crown has consistently played better offense in the UMAC season, but have not been able to get the defensive stops to win games. This rang true on Saturday as the Saints shot 55.2% for the game en route to a 103-76 Crown defeat.
Crown shot 45.3% for the game and hit 12-30 threes in an above average offensive performance. They only lost the rebounding edge by three and only had 14 turnovers. However, the Storm gave up 52 points in the paint.
James Brown had a season high 27 points and hit 5-10 from beyond the arc.
Adam Lechelt and
Tom Messner joined him in double figures with 11 and 10 points respectively.
Crown returns to action Sunday afternoon against Wisconsin Superior.
