St. Bonifacius, Minn. – The Crown volleyball team hosted Bethany Lutheran on Tuesday night to start a run of four pivotal conference matches that will take them to the end of the regular season. The Storm lost 3-0, falling to 1-4 in UMAC play and ending the night tied for eighth place in the conference standings.
The Storm played three consecutive competitive sets on Tuesday night, losing 25-19, 25-20, 25-21, but were done in by a lack of ability to finish off points on their attack. The Storm totaled just 20 kills to 39 for the visitors.
Annie Stoesz and
Kaitlin Ruiter led the way with five kills apiece, while
Brittany Gamer had a team best 13 digs and
Kelsey Roschen recorded 11 assists.
Crown takes to the road to face Northland College this Saturday.
