St. Bonifacius, Minn. - Crown College welcomed the Carleton College Knights to town on Wednesday night to wrap up their non-conference portion of their schedule for the 2014-2015 season. ,Crown will begin their UMAC conference play on Saturday against Minnesota Morris.
In this contest, the Knights shot 56% from the floor and 50% from three point land to coast to a 80-55 win. ,Crown would narrow the lead multiple times but could not find a defensive stop after their offensive outbursts. ,Carleton dominated on the glass outrebounding the Storm 42-22 on the night.
James Brown led the team with 15 points while
Tom Messner chipped in 13 and Garret Bigej had nine. ,One bright spot for Crown was their performance from three point land hitting 10 threes, a season high.
Austin VanDerHeyden did not record a double double as he did Monday night but did have a season high in blocks with four.
