Valley City, N.D. – Travelling on the road to Valley City, North Dakota, the Crown College Men's Basketball team knew they would have some tough competition against NAIA member Valley City State University. Down 13 at the half, Crown made a couple of runs, but could never narrow the score falling by a final score of 92-61.
The Vikings shot 48.3% from the floor and held Crown to a chilly 31.6% shooting night. Crown was nearly even in rebounding and actually gained more offensive rebounds than did the Vikings.
One bright spot for Crown was
Chuckie Adams who turned in his best offensive performance of the season notching 20 points and shooting 5-10 from beyond the arc.
Roland Owczarek and
Austin VanDerHeyden also chipped in 10 points apiece.
Crown will return to action on New Year's Eve at Concordia Moorhead.
