Coach Kevin Boozikee enters his third season coaching the women’s basketball program and his 25th year overall coaching basketball. Boozikee also serves as an assistant football coach and assistant professor of English on campus. Coach Boozikee came to Crown College with basketball coaching experience at multiple levels in Nebraska, Ohio, Indiana, and Minnesota. Most recently as a boy’s high school coach in Minnesota, Boozikee’s teams went 204-74 in his ten years at the helm, winning five conference championships, with Coach Boozikee receiving three conference Coach of the Year honors.
In just his first season, Coach Boozikee was already able to make a significant impact on the women’s basketball program. After not winning a game in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference since 2004, Crown was able to secure three UMAC wins and tied for sixth place in the league. The 2014-15 win totals were Crown’s highest since joining the NCAA Division III and the highest since the 2007-08 season. Boozikee coached two all-conference performers and three academic all-conference players in his first season.

Coach Boozikee lettered in both football and baseball at Concordia University, Nebraska, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Education. He went on to receive his master’s degree in English Education at Indiana University-Fort Wayne. Coach Boozikee and his wife Sherri, also an educator, live in Glencoe, MN. They have three children Terrin, Kenzie, and Kobe.
