Aidan Volk-Specht

Coach Volk-Specht enters his first season as an assistant baseball coach for the Polars, bringing with him a deep understanding of the program and a passion for mentorship. A five-year standout on the mound for the Polars, Volk-Specht played a pivotal role in the team's success during his collegiate career. He was a two-time UMAC All-Conference selection and a UMAC Champion, compiling a career ERA of 6.15 with 16 wins, 188.2 innings pitched, 200 strikeouts, and a .289 opponent batting average.

Reflecting on his transition to coaching, Volk-Specht shares:
"My mission as a coach is to continue leading and mentoring the guys on the team. It’s through a different lens than it was in the past, but it’s something I’m truly looking forward to. I will lead by example and focus on building strong relationships to help our players grow—not only as baseball players, but also as students and, most importantly, as men. I know I’ll learn a lot from them as well, and I’m pumped for that.”
