Katie Kandt

Kandt heads into her fifth year leading the Crown Women's Soccer program in 2025. After four seasons leading the program, she has a 27-43-11 record most recently leading her team to their third UMAC conference tournament finishing 6-4-2 in conference play. This past year Coach Kandt was awarded UMAC Co-Coach of the Year and NCCAA Regional Coach of the Year. In 2023,Crown finished 3rd at the NCCAA DII National Championship tournament with a win over Great Lakes Christian.

She has totaled 20 UMAC-All Conference selections in her four seasons, 7 UMAC Player of the Week selections, and 1 UMAC Rookie of the Year selection. The Polars women's soccer team fell just short in the 2023 campaign with a 1-0 loss in the UMAC semifinal. Kandt also will begin her third year as the Senior Woman Administrator.

Kandt previously served as Crown's Graduate Assistant Coach and gained notoriety as a prominent club coach in the West Metro. Before that, Kandt was a three-time All-Conference player for Crown, scoring 13 goals in her collegiate career as a midfielder and is excited to continue building her relationships with her student-athletes.

Katie is married to Noah Kandt and they welcomed their first child this past spring, Eden Kandt.
