Catelyn Garza enters her first season as the Graduate Assistant Softball Coach at Crown College after an outstanding four-year playing career with the Polars.
During her time as a student-athlete, Catelyn established herself as one of the premier infielders in program history. She graduated as the program's all-time leader in assists and hit by pitch, while earning a reputation as a dependable defender, a disciplined hitter, and one of the team's most consistent on-base threats. Throughout her career, she was a respected leader on and off the field, helping shape the culture of the program through her work ethic, character, and commitment to Christ.
As a member of the coaching staff, Catelyn will assist with all aspects of the Crown College Softball program, including recruiting, player development, practice planning, game preparation, and day-to-day program operations. Her firsthand knowledge of the program, combined with her passion for developing student-athletes both athletically and spiritually, makes her a valuable addition to the coaching staff.
Garza's love for Jesus Christ, Crown College, and Polar Softball is evident in the way she serves the program. She is committed to helping student-athletes grow in their faith, excel in the classroom, compete at a high level on the field, and represent Christ in all they do.
