"Old National Bank Stadium gives us an advantage late in the game because we feed off our students' energy that they're giving us," said former linebacker Jeremiah Jones. "It's almost like having a twelfth man on the field, especially in the fourth quarter when we need that extra push. It's awesome to have our students' support out there."
Crown College is home to some of the best athletic facilities in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference. Our 215 acre campus is home to Old National Bank Stadium, an all-turf outdoor facility that is home to Crown's football and soccer teams. The newest of Crown's athletic facilities, Old National Bank Stadium opened in the fall of 2013 (under the original name "KleinBank Stadium") with an over-capacity crowd of 1,421 people in attendance for the inaugural football game under the lights to celebrate the beginning of the 2013 Crown Football season. With home and visitor seating, 360-degree lighting, and a state of the art press box, Old National Bank Stadium is perfect for hosting team practices, summer tournaments, or big-time high school football and soccer games.
The turf field is ready to play in all weather conditions and new computerized lighting makes night games possible. The field is set up for NCAA football and soccer along with providing a consistent, safe playing surface with ample room for benches and great viewing on either side of the field. With a seating capacity of 1,329, Old National Bank Stadium has plenty of room for spectators.
Providing a great home field advantage for the Polars, the facility is a major upgrade with sound and video capabilities better than ever in the new multi-room press box. Located on Crown's beautiful campus just west of the Twin Cities, Old National Bank Stadium is easily accessible to the West Metro while serving as the home of the Crown College Polars.
