St. Bonifacius, MN - The Polars Women's Soccer team faced off with the North Central Rams on Saturday night and came out with a 2-0 win.

Just ten minutes into the contest Crown notched the first goal of match off the foot of Ashley Pierce off a solid assist from Lexi Shreve. Not much later in the first half the Polars struck the back of the net again when Laura Anderson scored the second goal of the night as Lexi Shreve added another assist. Crown finished with 19 total shots and 8 on goal as the Polars outshot the Rams 19-2. 

Abigail Shull finished with 5 shots on teh evening. Rachel Fuller recorded a clean sheet in goal for Crown and had 1 save.

Polars Women's Soccer moves to 2-7-1 on the year and 2-3-1 in conference play. They will head to Superior, Wisconsin for a match with UW-Superior on Tuesday, October 3rd at 3:30pm.
