St. Bonifacius, MN - The Polars Men's Soccer team faced off with the UM-Morris Cougars on Tuesday adn tied by a score of 0-0.
The first half saw the Polars shoot 4 times and the Cougars get 5 opportunities. The second half was much of the same with the Polars taking the slight edge with 8 shots compared to 3 from Morris. Crown totaled 8 shots on goal and Morris totaled 5 shots on goal. The battle continued for all 90 minutes and when the final whistle sounded the score settled at 0-0.
Joaquin Silva took four shots for Crown with 2 of them being on goal.
Luke Kamm also totaled 2 shots with both of them being on goal.
Leo Roque totaled five saves and a clean sheet in the contest.
The Polars move to 2-4-1 on the season and 1-1-1 in UMAC play and return home on Thursday, September 21st to take on UW-Eau Claire at 7pm.
