Women's Soccer Wraps Up Season With 9th Victory

Kissimmee, FL - The Polars Women's Soccer team faced off with Great Lakes Christian and took home the win 1-0.

Neither team found the first goal until Ashley Pierce knocked one in off a ball from Emma Wall and Crown took the 1-0 lead with 15 minutes left to play. Crown held on to get the win and took home 3rd place in the NCCAA DII Women's Soccer Championship tournament. The Polars led in shots 15-5 on the day. Goalkeeper Rachel Fuller totaled 2 saves in the contest and the shutout. 

The Polars finish the 2023 season 9-11-3 and went to back to back UMAC tournaments. They will look to build off this season in which they topped program records for overall wins and UMAC wins.
