Kissimmee, FL - The Polars Men's Soccer team faced of with Boyce College on Friday after heavy rainfall originally postponed the match. The two teams finished in a 1-1 tie.
An early goal from the Bulldogs moved the score to 1-0 after sixteen minutes of play. It wouldn't take long for the Polars to answer after a run from
Joaquin Silva and an excellent finish into the back of the net tied up the score. The first half finished even at 1-1. Crown had the slight edge in shots with the five to three advantage in the first 45 minutes of play. The second half was about as even as it could be as both teams fired in four shots and two corner kicks. Both squads had opportunities to put the game away but neither was able to get it done and the second pool play match stayed even at 1-1.
With the scenario favoring the Bulldogs due to goal differential and the same pool play record, Crown was knocked out of the tournament.
