Waconia, Minn. – The Crown golf teams hosted Martin Luther College for a match play event at Island View Golf Club on Tuesday, with both the men and women earning team victories over the Knights.

The event was scored as match play, but both teams played through all 18 and kept their stroke play scores as well.

The Crown women won all five against MLC, with Kendall Clark once again pacing the team, shooting 89.  Bethany Habbena (98) and Lexi Thomas (99) both broke the century mark.  Allie Johnson and Riley Houser both won their matches as well.

The men were led by a round of 76 from Drake Dawson with Tyler Stonecipher shooting 78.  Lane Thomas (81) and Titus Wookey (84) also won their matches as Crown took the match play victory 4-1. 

Both teams will next compete at the UNW Invite on Tuesday.
