New Ulm, Minn. – The Crown golf team traveled to conference opponent Martin Luther for the Knights Invitational on Thursday and faced off against a host of conference foes. The Storm finished with a sixth place team finish among the eight teams.
The conditions this spring have made it tough for all student-athletes, limiting outdoor practice time and pushing competitions back. Thursday's conditions continued to be bleak with the field battling through to complete 18 holes.
Titus Wookie led the Storm with an 11-over 81 while
Drake Dawson carded an 87.
Charlie West was also in the eighties, recording an 89, and
Lane Thomas rounded out the team score with a 94.
Bethany Lutheran bested UW-Superior by three strokes to claim the team title.
The team will wrap up their spring competition slate on Monday with a Duel against Martin Luther at Island View in Waconia.
