St. Bonifacius, Minn. – The Crown women's soccer team dominated in their NCCAA Regional Semifinal win over Faith Baptist on Friday, defeating the Faith Baptist Eagles 6-0. The Polars led the game throughout and made all their possessions count scoring 3 goals in each half.
Abigail Shull added two goals striking first in the 18th minute and the last score of the game in the 70th minute.
Ellie Schanbacher added her second goal of the season in the 35th minute.
The Polars continued to pour out offense with goals from Ella Hollander, Ashley Pierce, and Emma Domka in the 40th, 62nd, and 65th minutes respectively.
The Polars will move on to the NCCAA Regional Championship on Saturday, November 5th at 3:30pm taking on the Providence Pilots with a chance to go to the NCCAA National Tournament in Florida hanging in the balance.
